This is a growing area of concern given the high cost of tuition. Fortunately, many colleges have generous financial aid packages but you need to apply - even if you think you do not qualify. Many schools take other aspects into consideration such as number of siblings attending college, thus it is important to send the application in on time. The financial aid application process was moved up to the month of October thus allowing students to submit the FAFSA/CSS forms before sending the college applications in the November- January period.
